KitoGreen®, demonstrates strong field results on...

Many trials have been done in the last few years, mostly conducted on-field and greenhouses targeting resistance to abiotic stress, and efficacy against different specifically harmful or economically impacting diseases.

KitoGreen® products are now approved by the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA 99270-1) as biopesticides and by the European Commission (Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009) as Basic Substances for Plant Protection for multiple applications and crops.

KitoGreen® Technology against Oidium neolycopersici on Tomatoes

Using KitoGreen® on tomatoes against Oidium neolycopersici has shown to be very efficient in 2019 and 2020 in the North part of Italy (greenhouse).

The quantity of KitoGreen® applied by treatment was 300g/ha diluted in 1000l water (pH of 5.5). 6 treatments have been applied during the whole culture cycle.

KitoGreen® Technology against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum on Lettuces

Using KitoGreen on lettuces against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum has shown to be very efficient in 2019 and 2020 in the North part of Italy (in greenhouse).

The quantity of KitoGreen® applied by treatment was 300g/ha diluted in 600l water (pH of 5.5). 4 treatments have been applied during the whole culture cycle.

KitoGreen® Technology on table grapes and wine grapes

The use in 2020 of KitoGreen® at 300g/ha application in addition to sulfur (2800g/ha application) showed very high efficacy against Powdery mildew. This trial has been done in the south of Italy. In total 6 applications occurred from the pre-flowering stage to 50% berry final length.

KitoGreen® Technology fosters the growth and increases the overall sanitary quality of turfs and ornamentals

The use of KitoGreen® has promoted the growth of Euphorbia amygdaloides ‘robbiae’, leading to faster commercialization. KitoGreen® was applied 3 times at a ratio of 250g/ha.

KitoGreen® Technology on potatoes: impacts tubers size or increases yield

  • The use of KitoGreen® in the Netherland has produced a statistically similar yield to the control. However, the number of tubers was significantly lower decreased leading to bigger tubers.
  • On another trial, KitoGreen® has been used to determine the efficacy of KitoGreen against Streptomyces scabies on field-grown potatoes (2 species) in Hungary.

The usage of KitoGreen® Technology leads to a better germination of tomatoes seeds in drought stress situation

KitoGreen® has shown very promising results on the germination rate and the biomass produced in drought conditions.
